Bits and pieces of India.

RAPE OF NATION!

That’s right! Every time a woman or rather a female gender is sexually assaulted/violated/raped our nation is being raped of its dignity and pride.

What is left of it? I do not think there is anything to applaud. What we do pride is our culture our traditions that we pay forward. A legacy that we leave behind in the hands of our future generation. Are we not selfish if we only look into our own legacy back or forth? On Independence Day we come forward as united, where are we when a woman is violated her independent right taken away?

We have those who blame movies, the western culture and the women who choose to wear what they want. Ironically, few of them are those who have been liberal enough with the women in their lives. How sad is our thought process, where the environment we choose to control is that of movies, western culture and dresses? We would rather overlook the environment of the law enforced.

They come in a crowd, when there is a victory
They come in a crowd, when they want to protest
They come in a crowd, when they lose their leader
They come in a crowd, when they want to flex their muscle
They come in a crowd, from far away to listen
They come in a crowd, to shut down when the order is given
They come in a crowd, yelling this is our nation!

They sit alone at home, when a woman is sexually violated!!!

Look on your left or right, look at your mother, wife, sister, girlfriend, friend or relative; what if it had been her?

Wonder World!

This world is full of wonder there is no doubt about that. One moment your on top, cruising away in life where a simple gesture by someone can throw you off thinking deep.

May be we should remove like 10 minutes a day reflecting what we have seen in any situation and grasp what we can learn from it. Once it sinks into you, I do not think there is any turning back. Those thoughts based on your days visuals would sink deep into you. Thus, carving you from within.

I aim to have more written and get better at connecting my thoughts and my finger tips. May be I should first start with my first 10 minutes.

Until then. Have a splendid one.

Gone is Gone

The year 2012 may not have been globally blasphemous, personally it certainly was. The moment I received the call, ironically I thought of everyone in my life except him. He was too strong, too large in life to leave us behind. That sunset and the following sunrise on my way back home changed everything. It left me behind with one taste for this one life. I waited all my life in anticipation that there would be a time where he and I would live life backwards, I would enjoy him getting younger and he would enjoy me getting older. There is no later in life, every moment is here, now! Love someone? tell them now, miss someone? call them now. What do we wait for?

We are replaceable in our offices, but yet we try to hold on to that spot more than our life. We spend more time away from the things we love the most that are irreplaceable. I envy those who find their true calling and a balance between their lives. I have always heard myself tell others "the day you realize your a fool, you have become a little wiser". I have been a fool.

I cannot call you, but I will tell you that I miss you dad. I hope to be atleast 50% of the man you have been and I would consider my life a success.
